Sure, probably one of my all-time favourite albums. This quality short film by the YGB Records team is for the good of the corporation.
I'm sure some arty, well-known critic has unpacked this far better than I will here (or just read below). But I think this is right up there with Pink Floyd's The Wall if you've got the headspace and time to consume it. Dark, super funny, well shot and an awesome soundtrack to boot.
In a dystopian world where all trees are outlawed, one council worker chooses to rebel.
‘Trees’, starring Bruce Hopkins, (Lord of The Rings) alongside Tom Scott (Avantdale Bowling Club) in his acting and writing debut, takes inspiration from Jacques Tati's 1967 classic film 'Play Time’, replacing dialogue with a soundtrack of modal jazz scored by Abraham Kunin and played by Avantdale Bowling Club. Co-Directors are Ben Bryan and Scott.
